1.4 Guarantee
Liability for defects in the delivered products is defined in the Terms and Conditions of
Delivery. We accept no liability whatsoever for damage caused by failure to comply
with the operating instructions and conditions of use.
Only flawless products with the properties pledged by DÜPERTHAL leave our factory. If
the information in these operating instructions is followed, correct operation is guaran-
teed.
Annual review requirement
As safety equipment, DÜPERTHAL safety storage cabinets are subject to
an annual safety review recommended by the manufacturer. This
inspection is to be carried out by competent personnel qualified by the
manufacturer. Without the recommended annual inspection the cus-
tomer loses the right to make guarantee claims against the manufac-
turer.
1.5 Requirements on the installation location
The safety storage cabinet is approved for installation in a building.
Installation in outdoor areas with or without roof covering is not permitted.
The surface must be able to bear the weight of the safety storage cabinet when fully
loaded.
The surface must be horizontal in order to guarantee the problem-free functioning of the
safety storage cabinet.
The load-bearing capacity and stability of the surface must be assured both in normal sit-
uations and in the event of a fire.

Consider the following in relation to the installation location:

Protect the safety storage cabinet from vehicles, shocks, etc.
n
Do not install the safety storage cabinet near sources of heat.
n
Protect the safety storage cabinet against moisture (service class 1). Use at >70 %
relative humidity for a few weeks per year in structures closed on all sides and
heated.
n
The operating temperature must be between -5 °C and + 40 °C.
