Passive House
The DucoBox Energy Premium 325 with heater can be used in a Passive House / low-energy home which is energy-efficient and
boasts a comfortable indoor air climate� There are a number of requirements to meet Passive House certification:

Frost protection must be set to Passive House mode.
This switches off the imbalance method as frost protection (see page
199 "Frost protection"), in order to be able to guarantee a constant supply of fresh air� This setting can only be changed by the
installer�

The DucoBox Energy Premium must be capable of being switched off during the warm (summer) months
in order to minimise
power consumption� This can be achieved by fitting a switch between the power supply and the DucoBox Energy Premium or
by connecting the DucoBox Energy Premium to a separate fuse� NB: ensure there is sufficient natural ventilation (e�g� open
windows) whenever the unit is switched off� Take account of local legislation as well in all cases�

All warranty conditions concerning the DucoBox and Duco's ventilation systems can be found on the Duco website�
All complaints are to be reported to Duco by the Duco distributor with a clear description and the order/invoice number under
which the products were delivered� In order to register the complaint, please use the complaint registration form found on the Duco
website and the product's serial number in your message to service@duco�eu�
