Standard trap
When using a standard trap connection, a
water seal
of at least 80 mm
must be provided�
It also requires
to be filled with water before start-up.
This is to
prevent an air leak from occurring, preventing drain
smells in the ventilation and to obtain a water seal�

DucoBox Energy Premium (flat) trap
(not included in the supply)
You should preferably use this Duco flat diaphragm
trap, since it saves space and is less prone to air
leaks� It can be fitted ‘dry’ and it has the advantage
that it cannot dry out in hot weather�

Fitting condensate drain
The DucoBox Energy Premium must always be fitted with a condensate drain at the bottom� The unit is supplied with a standard
32 mm drain with a threaded end� There is an extra 32 mm diameter by 20 cm connecting pipe in the packaging� Condensate must
be drained
frost-free and with a slight fall
� The condensate hose must not have any sharp bends�
