Controller Parameters
Some parameters of the process controller can be displayed and modified in any controller mode. To
access these parameters, click the Set Param. button in Controller Monitor window. The controller
parameters will be retrieved from the SVI and presented in the Controller Parameters window (figure
26).
The parameters and options are determined based on specific application. After the configuration of the
controller parameters, click:

OK
button to accept changes entered, download to SVI, and exit to Control Monitor window.
•
Cancel
button to discard changes entered and exit to Control Monitor window.
Clicking the Positioner View button (figure 25) returns to the positioner view where the valve position
can be monitored. When the controller is configured in local or remote automatic mode, the positioner is
operating in normal operating mode and clicking the positioner view button will return the user to the
Normal Operating Mode window. If the controller is in manual mode the Position View button will return
the user to the Manual Mode window.
To stop the communication between ValVue and the SVI device and return to the Device List window,
select Exit from File menu in the Normal Operating Mode window, Manual Mode window, or Controller
Monitor window. Make sure positioner or controller mode is appropriate before returning to the Device
List window.
