This function is used to bind the IP and MAC address in LAN to have a strengthen control in
network. When this function is enabled, all the assigned IP and MAC address binding
together cannot be changed. If you modified the binding IP or MAC address, it might cause
you not access into the Internet.
Each item will be explained as follows:
Item Description
ARP Table
This table is the LAN ARP table of this router. The
information for IP and MAC will be displayed in this field.
Each pair of IP and MAC address listed in ARP table can be
selected and added to IP Bind List by clicking
Move
on IP
Bind List
.
Select All
- Allow you to choose all the items listed in ARP
Table.
Move
-Move the selected item to IP Bind List.
Refresh -
It is used to refresh the ARP table. When there is
one new PC added to the LAN, you can click this link to
obtain the newly ARP table information.
Mode
-
Enable -
Choose it to invoke this function.
However,
IP/MAC which is not listed in IP Bind List also can
connect to Internet.
Disable -
Choose it to disable this function. All the
settings on this page will be invalid.
Strict Bind
–
Choose it to lock the connection of the
IP/MAC which is not listed in IP Bind List.
Interface
–
When
Strict Bind
is selected, specify an
interface. The default is “lan1”.
Syslog
- When
Strict Bind/Enable
is selected, you can
check the box to save records of Bind IP to MAC in Syslog.
