The procedure is as follows:
Starting from the base density of a tree species (table block start density), additions or deduc-
tions are made for the density factor for various parameters.
The deductions of the blocks 1, 2, 3 and 5 must be estimated by the system user himself and
are therefore rather soft parameters. For the additions and deductions of blocks 4, 6 and 7,
the quantities issued by sScale™ can be used.
5.2.5.
Entering rejects
If there are individual logs in the woodpile that are to be marked as reject, you can enter their
numbers via button 2.2.7.11 “Reject”.
The system then automatically calculates the number of logs with the mean diameter of the
woodpile and the assortment length and subtracts the calculated volume from the total volume
of the woodpile.
