In case of doubt please check and count them.The DÖRR DCF 50 Wi provides a total of 10 settings
which can be activated with the MODE button while the flash is in slave mode “S:
S0 – DÖRR DCF 50 Wi fires simultaneously when triggered. Pre-flashes are not ignored.
S1 - DÖRR DCF 50 Wi ignores the 1st flash and fires when triggered by the 2nd flash
S2 - DÖRR DCF 50 Wi ignores 2 flashes and fires when triggered by the 3rd flash
S3 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 3 flashes and fires when triggered by the 4rd flash
S4 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 4 flashes and fires when triggered by the 5rd flash
S5 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 5 flashes and fires when triggered by the 6rd flash
S6 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 6 flashes and fires when triggered by the 7rd flash
S7 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 7 flashes and fires when triggered by the 8rd flash
S8 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 8 flashes and fires when triggered by the 9rd flash
S9 - DÖRR DCF 50 WI ignores 9 flashes and fires when triggered by the 10rd flash
Note: The slave sensor is located at the front flash housing below the AF red light cover. The flash
should be directed toward the external flash source for slave mode photography. The sensor ranges
app. 10m depending on the ambient light conditions.
Flash Power in Slave Mode
Select the desired flash power ratio from full to 1/32 by pressing the MODE button, before entering
the slave mode. If you use multiple DÖRR DCF 50 Wi flashes in slave mode, all of of them need to be
adjusted to the main flash.
Note: The power saving function will not work in slave mode.
LC Display
The LCD provides the following readings:
• Auto or manual zoom reflector positioning (24/28/35/50/70/ 85 or 105mm)
• Film speed set (ISO 100/200/400 or 800)
• Selected lens aperture
• Exposure control indicator (auto OK)
• Flash range in m and ft
• Display of TTL and iTTL and BL (Nikon only, depends on camera, please read camera user guide)
• Slave mode S0 to S9
• Wireless TTL mode STTL with cannels 1 to 4 and groups A, B, C
• Displays manually selected power ratio M (full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32)
In case of low ambient light, the LCD of the DÖRR DCF 50 Wi features an illumination which becomes
active when using the flash control. The illumination automatically switches off again after app. 5 s.
