The AC input current limiter switch included in the
front panel allows limitation of the unit to the avail-
able mains power of either 3 A, 6 A or max (no lim-
itation).
In all settings the AC input power booster is active
and will supply missing power up to the maximum
power available from the inverter, if the connected
loads exceed the available AC input power.
Night mode
When mains is available and the charger is active,
the charger can be operated in night mode. This
means that the maximum charge power will be
reduced by 50% and the fans are disabled and
therefore noise is reduced to a minimum.
As soon as the voltage or the frequency of the AC
input signal exceeds the required limits (for exam-
ple when the AC input signal disappears), the
device will immediately stop charging and turns off
entirely.
Operation without mains power avail-
able
For using the inverter without 230 V AC present,
the unit must be connected to a service battery.
Depending on the remote switch settings and the
wiring of the remote switch screw terminal, the
inverter can be switched on with the remote con-
trol in two different modes:
• Automatic mode: The inverter is monitoring the
load on the output and will work continuously if
the output loads are bigger than 25 W. Auto-
matic mode is visually indicated with a blinking
Inverter ON

). If the load
is <25 W for 10 min., the inverter will switch-off
in standby.
• Continuous mode: The inverter will operate
independently of the load. This mode is there-
fore recommended only for small loads. When
the remote control is switched off, the device
stays in standby and can be reactivated by the
remote control.
The unit should always be operated in an RV with
control of a remote switch to avoid standby cur-
rents. This can be a simple switch or no relay con-
tact which is controlled by the 12V main switch of
the RV control board when switched off. When the
12 V main switch is deactivated in your application,
the remote switch needs to be switched off. The
device then will power off and draw no standby
current from the battery.
