Broadcasting waves and service area
Mobacas uses different radio waves from those for FOMA
services and 1Seg. Therefore, Mobacas cannot be received in
places where Mobacas broadcasting waves do not reach or
during hours of Mobacas service suspension, regardless of
whether you are in the FOMA service area.
Furthermore, even in the Mobacas service area, reception may
be poor or impossible in such places as listed below:
• Places away from a radio tower transmitting broadcasting
waves
• Places where radio waves are interrupted by land features or
man-made structures, such as in mountains and behind a tall
building
• Places where radio waves are weak or do not reach, such as
in a tunnel, basement and inner area of a building
■
Improving reception
• When using Mobacas, fully extend the antenna (
Z
P.189).
• Reception may be improved by turning the antenna or
moving to a different place.
