Overseas Use
• When moving out of the service area of the
operator set manually, “No service” appears.
To use the service, you need to search
and select the other available operator in
“Searching network” or move into service area
of the current operator.
■ Screen display area
During network connection, the name of the
connected carrier is displayed.

• Before using wireless LAN, check the available
frequency band, laws, regulations or other
conditions of the country, and change the
wireless LAN settings if necessary (→P55).
Inquiries Overseas
If your miniUIM is lost or stolen overseas,
contact DOCOMO immediately and temporarily
suspend your subscription. For inquiry
information, see General Inquiries on the back
of this manual. Data communication charge will
still on you after the terminal is lost or stolen.
To call from a landline phone etc., “International
call access code” for the country you stay
or “Universal number international prefix” is
necessary.
After Coming Back to Japan
After coming back to Japan, you can use this
terminal within Xi area or FOMA area.
■ Connection
Turn off this terminal, and then turn on again.
The setting for searching network changes
to “Auto”. You cannot change this setting in
Japan.
■ If connection cannot be established
After turning off this terminal, turn on again.
The connection may be recovered.
