8.0 DECOMMISSIONING
8.1 DISPOSAL
During processing, waste materials, chips and sawdust are produced that must be collected, recycled
or disposed of according to the laws in force in the country where the machine is used.
8.2 DECOMMISSIONING THE MACHINE
At the end of the working cycle of the machine as a whole, or of any worn component, make sure this
is scrapped by contacting centres specialising in the disposal of such equipment.
If in doubt, contact the manufacturer for further information.
The machine and its components must not be abandoned, as some components
may be a source of danger, while other materials (lubricants, paints, hoses, etc.)
may pollute the environment.
When scrapping the machine, the parts made from different materials (rubber, plastic, etc.) must be
separated for disposal in compliance with the legislation in force.
As regards the metal structure of the machine, the parts made from steel and those made from other
metals or alloys must be separated for correct recycling by fusion.
