4. THE WEDGE MOVES DOWN OR UP IN JOLTS.
Cause:
a) no or insufficient oil in the tank;
b) friction on the distributor slide due to dirt;
c) air in the hydraulic circuit;
d) the filter is dirty.
Solution:
a) add oil;
b) clean the chrome-plated slide under the distributor;
c) tighten the two clamps on the intake hose;
d) clean the filter.
5. OIL OVERFLOWS FROM THE TANk FILL CAP.
Cause:
a) air in the hydraulic circuit.
Solution:
a) tighten the two clamps on the intake hose.
6. EVIDENT OIL LEAkS.
Cause:
a) leaks between pump and motor are due to incorrect motor rotation direction;
b) leaks between pump and gearbox are due to incorrect direction of rotation of the trac-
tor’s power takeoff;
c) leaks onto the ground from underneath the column may be due to bursting of the cylin-
der tubing, due to broken or missing sliding pads;
d) leaks onto the ground from underneath the column may be due to excessive lubrication
of the galvanised column.
Solution:
a) replace the pump seal ring;
b) replace the pump seal ring;
c) have the cylinder repaired and replace the missing or broken pads;
d) wait for the oil to be absorbed.
If after performing the operations described above the machine still does not work,
contact the service centre or the manufacturer of the machine.
