Design ‘Chairman & Delegates, >100 PC’s
Design characteristics
This design is used for a very large installation, where some or all of the Delegates
have access to a PC. The control of the system can be done from the ‘Technician’ or
the ‘Chairman’ or any ‘User’ with those facilities. Administration is done on the
‘Technician’ PC or on the two ‘Administration’ PC’s
Reservations
The CU 6010 has to be placed close to the ‘Technician’ PC (normally max. 2 m), or
a special RS232 long distance interface has to be used.
An SQL database has to be used. This database requires license from Microsoft. Two
PC’s or server’s with ‘Windows 2000 Server’ or ‘Windows 2000 Advanced Server’
has to be used for the installation of the database and the CAS application.
The CUI has to be installed at a PC with ‘Windows 2000 Server’ or ‘Windows 2000
Advanced Server’ i.e. the same server as used for the database
