Computer Name
Before you start installing the SW 6000 software package you must know the name of the computer on which
the database is running.
To find the computer name of a computer follow these instructions:

Open ‘Control Panel’.

Double click on the ‘System’ icon.

On the ‘System properties’ window select the ‘Network identification’ tab.

Click on the ‘Properties’ button.

The name of the computer can be found in the
textbox labelled ‘Computer name’.
NB You should not use the ‘Full computer name’.
The computer name must not include any spaces, such as ‘MY COMPUTER’
