Confirm performance
In practice it might occur that the machine’s performance – application rate by
rows – is not consistent, there can be bigger differences between the rows.
If the operator is aware of this characteristic of the machine and wants to ignore
these bigger differences between, it can be done with the „Confirm
performance” button
. Therefore, the actual machine performance will be accepted as
consistent.
To cancel the performance confirm, press the Confirm performance button again.

Errors
8.1
Blockage
Blockage is when for some reason the seeds can’t get out of the seeding tube.
This can be occurred by various unexpected events, such as litter, dust build up or any kind of
foreign object (big enough to close the way of the seeds) in the tube.
Blockage can be formed before and after the sensor as well, in the latter case don’t have to
wait to the seeds reach the sensor, because the XeedSystem is able to perceive blockage in
a few seconds.
The XeedSystem processes numerous parameters of the seed flow in each seeding hose. It
analyzes and compares the results of each sensor and define blockage considering this
information.
It can be said, that XeedSystem detects not the blockage itself, but only those unexpected
changes in the seed flow which is mostly caused by blockage. Every blockage (before or after
the sensor) changes the seed flow and the XeedSystem recognize these changes.
In case of blockage detection the most important option is the seed type and the blockage
sensitivity.
Seed type:
The list of the seed types has predefined, starting with the most common seed types (corn,
wheat etc.), but If the applied seed type is not in the list, select the most suitable size for the
most accurate blockage detection.
Blockage detection sensitivity:
There are five predefined “Blockage detection sensitivity” levels. The Medium (default) option
is the best choice in the most situation, however sometimes it may require using another option
(Extra low, Low, High, Extra high) to reach the best performance. Depending on the machine
parameters, seed quality, litter, deviation of seed sizes etc, so it is advised to experiment the
best value for every seeding.
