PIP (picture-In-Picture)
PIP is when a small preview screen is displayed
within the main screen, allowing the viewer to
watch two programs (Live TV and/or Recorded
Title) simultaneously. Only the main screen
program audio is heard. The PIP program can
be viewed in the main screen by “Swapping”.
Swapping changes the current PIP program to the
main screen and the main screen program to the
PIP screen.
Note:
•
The PIP function is cannot be enabled while
recording.
•
PIP will be disabled if the REC button is
pressed.
Using PIP with Live TV
1. While watching a Live TV program press the
YELLOW ON/OFF button. The PIP preview
window is displayed showing the Live TV
program in both the main screen and the PIP.
2. To change the Live TV program in the PIP
press the YELLOW CH+ or CH- buttons.
3. To change the program being viewed in the
PIP to the main screen, press the SWAP
button.
4. To turn the PIP Off, press the YELLOW ON/OFF
button.
Using PIP with Live TV and a Recorded Title
1. While watching a Live TV program press the
YELLOW ON/OFF button. The PIP preview
screen is displayed.
2. To change from the Live TV program in the PIP
to a Recorded Title, press the YELLOW LIVE/
LAST WATCHED REC button. The first Recorded
Title starts to play in the PIP. A green
arrow indicates that the PIP is previewing a
Recorded Title.
3. To change the Recorded Title being viewed in
the PIP press the YELLOW CH+ or CH- buttons.
4. To change the Recorded Title viewed in the
PIP to the main screen, press the SWAP
button.
5. To turn the PIP Off, press the YELLOW ON/OFF
button.
