Removing the Module from the DEChub 900 MultiSwitch
To remove the module from the DEChub 900 MultiSwitch, complete the
following steps.
Step
Description
1.
Disconnect the serial port cables by pressing the release tab on
the cable plug and then removing the plug.
2.
Remove the RS232 MJ8 console connector from the unit.
a.
Lift the release lever
located at the top of the DEChub 900
MultiSwitch slot.
b.
While holding up the release lever, pivot the module back on its
bottom mounting tab
.
c.
Lift the module from the backplane
.
