Table C–1 lists typical PCI option settings and the requirements
for the Fast EtherWORKS PCI 10/100 adapter. On later PCI
plug-and-play systems, the PCI BIOS automatically configures the
adapter, so there is no user action needed.

Some PCI computers have a slot that does not support bus mastering. Make sure that
the Fast EtherWORKS 10/100 adapter is installed in a PCI slot that has bus mastering
capabilities.
