Start using the Rio

Joypad clockwise from the top:

(Play/Pause): Press this button to play; press again to
pause. When paused, the Play/Pause icon appears as two
vertical bars on the LCD, and the Current Song Position blinks
to show the time it was paused. If the Rio is left in Pause mode
for an extended period of time, it goes into sleep mode to
conserve battery life. Press
>/||
again to wake the Rio from
sleep mode.

(Forward): Press and release

to skip to the next track
on the Rio. If the Rio is playing a track it advances to the next
track and starts playing. Press and hold
>>
to fast-forward
through the track currently playing.

(Stop): Press

to stop playing the current track. Press and
hold

for about two seconds to put the Rio in sleep mode.

to wake the Rio from sleep mode.

(Reverse): Press

to skip to the previous track on the
Rio. If the Rio is playing a track it skips to the beginning of the
