Technical Specifications of Dialogic SCbus Linecards
OneBox functions with linecards designed for the Signal Computing bus (SCbus). The
SCbus is a hardware standard, created by Dialogic and the Signal Computing System
Architecture (SCSA) steering committee, that allows hardware components from
different manufacturers to interoperate in the same platform. Multiple SCbus components
are connected together through the use of an SCbus cable. The following Dialogic SCbus
linecards are approved for use with OneBox:
•
D/41ESC
4-port linecard
•
D/160SC-LS 16-port linecard
Tables 1 and 2 list the technical specifications of each of the previously mentioned
linecards.
Note
The telephone company may require some of these specifications, such as the
FCC registration number, if the linecard is connected directly to central office (CO) lines.
