Chapter 7

CSM Support

Enable or disable the CSM support. When the CSM support is enabled, UEFI BIOS will be able 

to execute legacy firmware drivers.

Boot option filter

Select the BIOS boot mode: UEFI and legacy, legacy only or UEFI only.

Network

Select to control the execution of network option ROM: Do not launch, UEFI or legacy.

Storage

Select to control the execution of storage option ROM: Do not launch, UEFI or legacy.

Video

Select to control the execution of video option ROM: Do not launch, UEFI or legacy. 

Other PCI devices

Select to control the execution of option ROM for other PCI devices other than the above con-

figured network, storage and video devices: Do not launch, UEFI or legacy. 

Security

This section configures the security for system boot and BIOS setup utility.

Administrator Password

Enter to set a new or change the existing administrator password.

User Password

Enter to set a new or change the existing user password.

Please note that passwords must be at least 3 and up to 20 characters long.
