When “Network Stack” is set to enabled, it displays the following configuration settings:
IPv4 PXE Support
Enable or disable Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) boot to LAN using IPv4
addressing architecture.
IPv6 PXE Support
Enable or disable Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) boot to LAN using IPv6
addressing architecture.
PXE boot wait time
Enter the wait time value (seconds) to abort the PXE boot by pressing the ESC
key. Valid range is from 0 to 5 seconds.
Media detect count
Enter the number of times the presence of media will be checked. Valid range is
from 1 to 50 times.
CSM Configuration
This section configures Compatibility Support Module (CSM) settings.
CSM Support
Enable or disable the CSM support. When the CSM support is enabled, UEFI BIOS will be
able to execute legacy firmware drivers.
Boot option filter
Select the BIOS boot mode: UEFI and legacy, legacy only or UEFI only.
Network
Select to control the execution of network option ROM: Do not launch, UEFI or legacy.
Note:
When Secure Boot (please refer to "Security"> "Secure Boot" later in this chapter) is
enabled, execution of the CSM and legacy ROMs are not allowed.
