LEDs
Power LED (green)
This LED will be green when the system is powered on.
HDD LED (flashing orange)
The HDD LED will flash orange when storage devices are being accessed.
Standby LED
This LED will be red when there is power on the system board.
The lithium-ion battery is an auxiliary source of power when the main power is shut off. Two
of them provide power for the Static Random-Access Memories (BAT 2 & 3) and one provides
power for the MCU and the system's CMOS memory (BAT 1). The batteries for SRAM enables
the system to retain data for 5 years without AC power supply. The demonstration application
can show the voltage readings as well as set threshold values and its API utility provides func-
tions for battery voltage monitoring.
Safety Measures
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
• Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommend by the manufacturer.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local ordinance
