This chapter provides tips and infor-
mation on how to deal with any mal-
functions or faults you may experi-
ence with the OpenCom 100.
Please note:
Repairs to the
OpenCom 100 should only be carried
out by qualified personnel.
The following LEDs indicate that the
OpenCom 100 is ready for operation:
Position of LEDs on the OpenCom 100
The LAN LEDs are only visible on the
OpenCom 110/120when the label-
ling strip is removed.
General/Hardware
Question: The OpenCom 100 is
not functioning.
Make sure the mains plug is properly
connected.
Plug another device into the mains
socket to check whether there is any
voltage.
Question: The mains plug is con-
nected, the mains socket is supply-
ing output, but the OpenCom 100
still does not function.
DANGER!
High voltage in-
side the device. To make the sys-
tem dead, remove the power plug
from the socket!
Take the housing cover off. Is the
“Power Fine” LED at the top left lit
up? If not, contact your service cen-
tre or an authorised dealer. The AC
adapter plug of the OpenCom 100
may be defective.
Question: After restarting the
OpenCom 100, nothing is indi-
cated on the displays of any con-
nected terminals.
