If

Apex Locator is not operating properly, check the possible cause using the
following checklist. If you are unable to solve the problem by referring to the checklist,
contact Dentsply Sirona Endodontics Customer Service.

To perform a factory reset:
Dentsply Sirona requires that you reprocess the product before shipping it to a service
center.
To remedy certain problems, it is necessary to perform a factory reset (delete user
settings and restore factory settings) on the device. In such case proceed as described
below.

Hold down the ON/OFF/Standby button for approximately 20 seconds.
The factory reset takes 20 seconds in total. After the first 10 seconds,
there is a brief white flash of all LEDs. At the end of the process, another
white flash and a long beep indicate a successful factory reset.
