Deleting the JIS1/JIS2 font file
DELETE
1:JIS 1
2:JIS 2
Selecting the "1: DELETE" on the JIS 1/JIS 2 menu
calls up the screen shown at left.
1 JIS 1 :
Deletes the JIS Level 1 font file.
2 JIS 2 :
Deletes the JIS Level 2 font file.
Select the font file to be deleted by using the nu-
merical keys or
* and
* keys, then press
ENT key.
To return to the JIS 1/JIS 2 menu, press C key.

Selecting the font file above will call up the confir-
mation screen shown at left.
On the 3rd line appears the font to be deleted.
This example shows that the "2: JIS 2" has been
selected.
1 Yes :
Deletes the selected font file.
2 No :
Cancels deleting and returns to the JIS
1/JIS 2 menu.
Select a desired item by using the numerical keys,
then press ENT key.
DELETE
JIS 2 DELETE
** Completed **
Upon completion of deleting, the screen shown at
left appears.
Press C key to return to the JIS 1/JIS 2 menu.
Before deleting the JIS Level 1 or Level 2 font file, be sure to upload it to the host
computer to save it for the future use.
If you attempt to display any deleted Kanji font in user programs, " " will appear.
After the JIS Level 1 or Level 2 font is deleted, the memory area which was
occupied by that font in the flash ROM can be used as a user area.
