Fault Cause Resolution
Battery cannot be charged (only
via integrated charger). Defective secondary fuse in the
charger. Replace the defective fuse.
Battery is discharged, surge pro-
tection is activated. Replace the battery.
Defective charger. Replace the charger.
6.2 Hydraulic oil
NOTICE
Danger of contamination with oil!
Keep enough collection media available for the following steps!
Before operation, it must be checked that there is a sufficient amount of hydraulic oil, which must be
refilled or replaced as necessary. To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Lower the drum lifter to the lowest level and switch off the engine.
2. Remove the locking nut on the oil container.
3. Drain the used oil via the opening. Dispose of the used oil in accordance with the applicable statutory
requirements.
4. Now refill with new oil (Model: HL 46).
5. Now re-fasten the locking nut.
6. Next, restart the engine. Alternate lifting and lowering the drum lifter several times.
7. Lower the drum lifter to the lowest level. Loosen the valve screw on the hydraulic cylinder by roughly
one turn.
8. Lift the drum lifter to the highest level. Re-fasten the valve screw as soon as the oil draining through
the opening is free from air bubbles.
9. Collect the oil in suitable collection media. Dispose of it in accordance with the applicable statutory
regulations.
