5.2.3 Lifting loads
The drum lifter is suitable for the effortless lifting and transporting of corrugated drums with a capacity of
60 l or 212-230 l in accordance with DIN EN 15750-2 and closed steel lid drums with a capacity of
208-216.5 l in accordance with DIN EN 15750-1. The drums must not be damaged or deformed. Check the
actual suitability of the drum. Ensure that the drum is secure on the drum gripper.
To transport a drum, proceed as follows:
1. Bring the drum lifter to the immediate vicinity of the desired drum.
2. Use the pressure buttons on the tiller to move the drum gripper up or down until the clamp on the up-
per end of the gripper locks into place (see figure).
3. At the target destination: Move the drum gripper to the lowest possible position and then remove the
drum from the gripper.
