4.1 Charging the batteries
The drum lifter is operated by multiple batteries. They must be fully charged before commissioning. For
this purpose, attach the included charging cable to the charging socket and wait until the charging
process is complete. The charging indicator can be read out as follows: If only the outer right bar lights up,
the batteries are fully charged (see figure). The battery's discharge is indicated in increments of 10%,
which light up one additional bar each. Always ensure that the batteries of the drum lifter are fully
charged at the start of work. At a charge of 30% or less (seven or more charging bars light up): stop
working and recharge the batteries.
