2 General notices
The product must only be used in accordance with the intended use. Before first use, read and follow the
operating instructions, especially the safety instructions and warnings. The product may only be used by
persons who have been instructed and trained.
National directives and safety regulations must be complied with. This applies in particular to German
Accident Insurance (DGUV) Regulation 54 (winches, lifting and pulling equipment) and DGUV Regulation
68 (Forklift Training).
2.1 Warnings
Warnings are shown at the start of a chapter, or before sections in instructions for action where a hazard
may occur. The warnings are structured as follows:
DANGER
The symbol indicates the type of danger.
Symbol and signal word indicate a danger which leads to serious injury or
death.
