Safety elements in the handle :

If the emergency turnaround button is pushed, the drum lifter immediately rolls away from the user
and stops a few metres away.
g If activated, the emergency stop immediately disrupts the power supply in the drum lifter. This is rel-
evant to safety, in the event that the drum lifer cannot be stopped via other user controls in time.
5.2.2 Driving with the drum lifter
WARNING
Danger to bystanders!
While driving, always ensure that there are no other persons in your vicin-
ity! Always remain behind the industrial truck while driving the drum
lifter!
Proceed as follows to use the drum lifter:
1. Pull out the emergency stop button.
2. Insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it clockwise to the right.
3. To remove the automatic brake, tilt the shaft toward you (see illustration). If the shaft leaves the in-
dicated acceleration range, the drum lifter stops automatically and comes to a halt.
4. Turn the direction button forward or backward to drive forward or backward.
