device type must be selected manually. When you do a manual
selection make sure that the selected impact device corresponds to the
impact device that is connected to the unit.
The tip of the impact device is subject to wear that comes from regular
use. This wear is progressive and can affect impact device accuracy. If
you get erroneous hardness values the impact device tip is most likely
worn or damaged and in need of replacement. For this reason we
recommend that you check the tip using a known test block at least
every 500 impacts to verify its condition. And in order to remind the
operator, we included the
Tip Alarm
option that is activated when the
automatic counter in the unit reaches the limit set by you.
Select
Every:
to set the alarm limit (default
value is 500) and use
Reset
to set the counter
back to zero each time the tip is replaced or
the impact device is changed.

Choose
Set Default
to return to the original factory default hardness

Touch
