Touch to go to the grid in the open file.
In order to obtain reliable measurements with your QH5, we
recommend that you take at least 3 (three) measurements (within 3-
4mm from one another) and use the average of all 3 values as your
final hardness measurement. In order to make this a simple process,
set an (N) number of values that will be used for averaging.
The
(N)
number is also used for statistical purposes and to set the
number of columns in the Datalogger. Every
(N)
number of values all
statistical data for any given group is automatically updated, and the
group is closed in the Datalogger.
Partial statistics can be viewed at anytime by touching the
key.
Touch
on
Group (N)
to open the numbers editor where you can
set the (N) number. Touch
to save and then touch
to exit.
Note
Every time the hardness unit is changed, the group (N)
number is automatically reset to zero and the group that
was open in the Datalogger will be closed. A new group
will be automatically opened.
To better understand how
Group (N)
works with the Datalogger refer
to page 36 in this manual.
