In order to create a user unit you must select a material (the closest
one to a material in the predetermined list) that you will be measuring,
and you must also choose a hardness unit.
After selecting the material and hardness unit

on Custom Units to view available
the User Unit 1 and User Unit 2 menu

Choose one of the user units touching

makes no difference) and enter the first reference point:

To enter the first user unit reference point you must make (N) number
of measurements on the test piece of the uncommon material or alloy
of a known hardness value.
Two options will appear on your unit screen:
N=0
: Use the
key to reset the counter to 0 if a wrong
measurement was taken.
Angle
: Use the
key to change the impact device angle.
Each measurement will appear on the unit display with large numbers
