Option
Description
Enable Intel Virtualization Technology (default).
VT for Direct I/O
This option specifies whether a virtual machine monitor can use the
additional hardware capabilities that are provided by Intel
Virtualization Technology for Direct I/O. This option is not enabled
by default.

Service Tag
Displays the Service Tag of your thin client.
Asset Tag
This option enables you to create a system asset tag if an asset tag
is not already set. This option is not set by default.
BIOS Downgrade
This controls flashing of the system firmware to previous revisions.
The option

is enabled by default.
Data Wipe
This field enables you to erase the data securely from all internal
storage devices. Option
Wipe on Next boot
is not enabled by
default. The following is the list of devices affected:

Internal SATA HDD/SSD
•
Internal M.2 SATA SDD
•
Internal M.2 PCIe SSD
•
Internal eMMC
CAUTION:
If you enable this option, all the data is
permanently deleted
BIOS Recovery
This option enables you to recover certain corrupted BIOS
conditions from a recover file on the user’s primary hard drive or an
external USB drive.

BIOS Recovery from Hard Drive—enabled by default
•
BIOS Auto-Recovery—disabled by default
