Steps
1.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the back of the solid state drives (SSDs).
2.
If required, disconnect the power and data cables from the system board.
Observe the routing of the power and data cables inside the chassis as you remove them from the
system board and the optical drive. You must route these cables properly when you replace them to
prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
3.
To release the SSD tray, press and push the tray release tab toward the front of the system.

Slide the SSD carrier out of the system until it is free of the optical-drive slot.
5.
Press the SSD release tab and lift the SSD from the tray.
