You may need to prevent your received faxes from being accessed by unauthorized people. You can turn on the secure fax mode using the Secure Receive
option to restrict printing out received faxes when the printer is unattended. In the secure fax mode, all incoming faxes are stored in memory. When the mode
is turned off, any faxes stored are then printed.
Turning on the Secure Receiving Mode
1.
Press

and press

).

Press
Scroll

) to select Advanced
Fax
and press
Select
(
P
).
3.
Press
Scroll
(
<>
) to select Secure
Receive
and press
Select
(
P
).
4.
Press
Scroll

) to select Print and press
Select
(
P
).
5.
Press
Cancel
(V) to return to Standby mode.
When a fax is received in the secure receiving mode, your printer stores it into memory and displays
Memory
Received
to let you know that there is a fax
stored.
To print received documents:
1.
Access the
Secure
Receive
menu by following steps 1 thorough 3

2.
Press
Scroll

) to display Print and press
Select

P
).
3.
Enter the four-digit passcode and press
Select
(
P
).
The faxes stored in memory are printed.
To turn the secure receiving mode off:
1.
Access the
Secure
Receive

2.
Press
Scroll

) to display Off and press
Select
(
P
).
3.
Enter the four-digit passcode and press
Select
(
P
).
The mode is deactivated and the printer prints faxes stored in memory.
4.
Press
Cancel
(V) to return to Standby mode.
Printing Reports
The following reports are available:
Directory List
This list shows all of the numbers currently stored in the printer's memory as speed dial and group dial numbers.
You can print this Directory list using
Directory

) on the operator panel; see

.
Scheduled Job Information
This list shows the documents currently stored for Delayed fax. The list shows the starting time and type of operation.
Activity Report
Shows all incoming and out going fax activity recorded by the MFP.

NOTE:
The Secure Receive mode only restricts the printing of faxes if Secure Receive is set to On first.
