Troubleshooting

10.5 Printer Problems

Some of the characters are not printed correctly, or extra characters are
inserted in the printout.

Check that Bypass Table is cleared and EBCDIC to ASCII table is correct. Load
default EBCDIC to ASCII table. Refer to Section 9.7.

If the problem is not solved, Reset Factory Defaults. Refer to Section 4.9. This will
clear your terminal setup. You will have to define all your setup parameters in Offline
and Online Setup.

Define the printer driver as Null.

Change the printer cable.

To check the printer driver and printing character set:

1. Initialize ECIDIC to ASCII table to default.

2. Select the Code Page 850.

3. Enter the Workstation test menu and select Printer test run. Check the results.
