MASK ASSEMBLY
The mask comes already assembled. Before use, it must be
adjusted to fit the user properly.
(Mod. WM31, WM35) Before use, set up sensitivity and
shade level.
Fig1:
MASK ADJUSTMENT
SELECTING SHADE LEVEL (Mod. WM31-WM35)
Select the shade level you require according to the welding
process you will use by referring to the “Shade Guide Table”
Fig 2
below for settings.
Turn the shade control knob to the shade number required
(
WM35 Fig.7
).
SENSITIVITY (only WM31-WM35)
The sensitivity can be set to “HIGH /MAX ” or “LOW”.
Where the operation of the mask is disturbed by excess
ambient light, or another welding machine close by, use the
“low” setting.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
This mask has been designed and manufactured to protect
face and eyes from risks (arc rays and hot metal projections)
associated with welding operations and similar processes: it
must not be used for purposes other than those for which it
has been designed.
When used, it should be kept as close as possible to face and
eyes, and as far as possible from direct heat of the arc.
REPLACE THE FRONT COVER LENS: Replace the front
cover lens if it is damaged (cracked ,scratched, dirty) WM23
