Presence of single-phase loads on the electrical system
▪
DazeBox with active Power Management function
Three-phase electronic meters with power ratings below 30 kW are
equipped with an internal 63 A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker: should
single-phase loads be excessively unbalanced on a line of the three-phase
meter, the Dynamic Power Management function will suspend the load to
prevent the thermal-magnetic circuit breaker from tripping. Should the
described scenario occur frequently, it is recommended to contact your
electrician to correctly balance the single-phase loads on the system.
7.2. Internal temperature management
DazeBox monitors its internal temperature to prevent overheating and
protect electronic components.
When the temperature rises above the recommended thresholds, DazeBox
limits the charging current: the higher the detected internal temperature, the
less current the vehicle is allowed to charge.
With particularly high ambient temperatures, it may happen that DazeBox
temporarily suspends charging and signals the status "Waiting for cooling":
as the internal temperature decreases, charging will resume automatically.
If the internal temperature continues to rise, even after a pause, DazeBox
may interrupt the charging session and report the error with code E01.
In order to make the most of the DazeBox's potential, it is recommended to
avoid installation positions that expose it to direct sunlight.
