vPad-Mini OPERATORS MANUAL
4.2 Test Protocols Based on a Sequence
On the ‘Sequence’ screen a ‘named’ sequence can be selected from the dropdown list shown in
Figure 50
and
Figure 51
. When naming sequences, it is recommended that one of the following ‘keys’ be included in
the name, depending on the Standard used: 62353, 61010, or NFPA. This will allow the list to be filtered in
accordance with the filter checkboxes in order to make it easier to find the desired sequence name.
Once a sequence has been selected, the icon buttons at the bottom of the screen will be enabled. These
buttons are Edit
, Trash
and Run
.
Once created, the content of a ‘named’ sequence is not intended to be easily changed. To make changes it is
necessary to first select Edit
, which will take you to the Standards screen, where the parameters
from the Sequence will be reflected in the parameter list. If you choose to Run the test from the Standards
screen, the test protocol recorded in the test report will be changed back to a <deviceID>.ats format. If
changes are made to the protocol and you wish to update the original ‘named’ sequence, go to page 4 of the
Standards screens and select Save
. When the Save icon is touched, a dialog will be presented as
shown in
Figure 52
, below.
