4.1 Test Protocols
When a test is started for the first time on a device, it may be necessary to select the desired standard from
the drop-down list. On this first-time test, the protocol will start as the default protocol defined for the
particular standard. The actual test steps that are enabled in the default protocol are shown in yellow on the
right of the screen, with a check mark if the default protocol will perform the step. Additional, optional
steps are also shown, but do not have a checkmark. The default protocol may be changed if desired.

The default protocols for the four available standards are:
EC 62353 NFPA99 IEC61010 AU/NZ 3551
Default Setting for Standards
If the test protocol, as indicated by the checkmarks, is acceptable, simply touch the Run icon,
,to start the test.
