An alternative method of data input is via the use of the list search feature, accessed by the search icon,
. Touch this icon to access the context sensitive (eg. Make, Model, Description, Facility, Location)
list search feature. Touch on the search icon at the end of the Facility line in Figure 38 to gain access to
any facilities available in an existing list.
The list of facilities, for instance, is a text file resident on the vPad-Mini. The file can be created on a PC
and transferred to the Mini tablet, or it can be created as new devices are tested. In the above screen, the
Search has been entered with a blank initial value, as indicated by the blank text input box, in the lower left
corner. On entry with a blank value, the list will display all available values for the parameter, in this case,
Facilities.
