Gain Control
Gain Control
Gain Control
is a system that controls gain in the captured image—how bright or dark the
resulting image will be. The higher the gain, the brighter the image.
When the POWERSCAN D8590 is set to
Adaptive
mode, it will automatically maintain the
proper setting for gain based on the captured image in order to produce the best setting to
perform a decode. In the
Manual
setting the gain is fixed to whatever value is set by gain
slider controls on the
Illumination
tab in
I/O Parameters
