Configuring Logix5550™ to use EtherNet/IP 

A. 

Configuring the Ethernet Adapter 

 

Right click on the I/O Configuration Folder and select “New Module”   

 

Choose the appropriate Ethernet Module for your application.  For this example:  

“1756-ENET/B 1756 Ethernet Bridge” 

 

 

 

 

Fill in the desired IP Address for the Ethernet adapter and assign a name to the adapter.  For 
this example the IP Address is “192.168.0.147” and the name is “EIP”. 

 

 

 

 

Click on “Finish >>”
