4.8 Bus termination (Figure 1)

 

 

A bus termination resistance is provided inside 
the connection cap. This has to be activated 
as line termination on the last device in the 
transmission line. 
Use the RT Switch to activate or deactivate 
the bus termination. 

 
 

RT Description 

1 = 2 = ON 

Activated: if the encoder is the last device 
in the transmission line 

1 = 2 = OFF 

Deactivated: if the encoder is not the last 
device in the transmission line
