Maintenance

Reflash

You are able to download firmware updates and reprogram your M.A.Ch.10/100 in the
field. Watch the

www.datacom.textron.com

web site for feature upgrades and new

releases for your M.A.Ch.10/100 software.

The image file you download from the web site must be copied to your mobile device. If
this is a Windows CE unit, you can use the ActiveSync feature of Windows CE Services
on your workstation, a PCMCIA memory card or a direct download from the web site via
your built modem to get the required image file on your device.

During this process it is imperative that the AC power adapter be used on your
mobile device, and that you

DO NOT

interrupt the process once started.

Reflashing Your Unit

The reflash operation is a three-part operation. To reflash your unit:

1. Get the new firmware onto your device per the downloaded instructions.

2. Select the proper image file for reflashing, and start the download.

3. Wait patiently during the actual programming process.
