Port Capabilities
The
Port Capabilities
utility identifies which type of device is connected to a port and
the network capability of that port.
To run the
Port Capabilities
test:
1. Connect a patch cable from the
Cable Jack
of your M.A.CH.10/100 unit to the port
you want to test.
2. Click
Start
to begin.
Port Capabilities Test in Action
The test results are displayed on the right-hand side of the screen, showing which
device is connected to the port.
3. Click
Stop
to end the test.
4. Click
or
Cancel
to exit the
Cable Toolbox
screen.
