Analog Input Features
This section describes the following analog input (A/D) features of the DT9816 Series

Input Resolution
The resolution of the A/D subsystem on the DT9816 Series modules is 16-bits. This resolution
is fixed; it cannot be programmed in software.
Analog Input Channels
DT9816 Series modules provide six single-ended simultaneous analog input channels. You
can acquire data from a single analog input channel or from a group of analog input channels
on the module.
Note: To maintain simultaneous operation, all analog input connections must have the same
lead lengths.
The following subsections describe how to specify the channels.
Specifying a Single Analog Input Channel
The simplest way to acquire data from a single analog input channel is to specify the channel
for a single-value analog input operation using software; refer to
page 61 for more information
about single-value operations.
You can also specify a single channel using the analog input channel list, described in the next
section.
