WARNING
UNINTENDED START
When the frequency converter is connected to AC mains,
or DC power supply, the motor may start at any time.
Unintended start during programming, service or repair
work can result in death, serious injury, or property
damage. The motor can start by means of an external
switch, a serial bus command, an input reference signal
from the LCP, or after a cleared fault condition.
To prevent unintended motor start:
•
Disconnect the frequency converter from mains.
•
Press [Off/Reset] on the LCP, before
programming parameters.
•
The frequency converter, motor, and any driven
equipment must be fully wired and assembled
when the frequency converter is connected to
AC mains, or DC power supply.

5.3 Restoring Default Settings
NOTICE
Initialisation restores the unit to factory default settings.
Any programming, motor data, localisation, and
monitoring records are lost. Uploading data to the LCP
provides a back-up before initialisation.
Restoring the frequency converter parameter settings back
to default values is done by initialisation of the frequency
converter. Initialisation can be carried out via
14-22 Operation Mode
or manually.
•
Initialisation using
14-22 Operation Mode
does not
change frequency converter data such as
operating hours, serial communication selections,
personal menu settings, fault log, alarm log, and
other monitoring functions.
•
Using
14-22 Operation Mode
is generally
recommended.
•
Manual initialisation erases all motor,
programming, localisation, and monitoring data
and restores factory default settings.
5.3.1 Recommended Initialisation
1.
Press [Main Menu] twice to access parameters.
2.
Scroll to
14-22 Operation Mode
.
3.
Press [OK].
